To Help Me, First Listen...

Revelation, Wisdom and Understanding Psalm 119:130 The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple. You can't help me get Healed, Delivered or Set Free..until you are willing and available to listen to the reason, I am hurting in the first place. Person 1: I'm sorry for your hurts, I can see it plainly. Person 2: I'm not sure what you SEE but until you let me tell you my story, You have no idea why I feel the way I do, and therefore can't offer me any real solutions. Sometimes it's a inconvience to just listen, but that's what it's going to take for Healing to take place in the hearts of many. Quoting scriptures, giving opinions, talking about what you endured is not going to do it and not even doing great deeds for it's have been tried for centuries, but all missed the point, and the point is: You have to get to the root to understand any problem and until you are available and willing to hear the whole story, you can not help me get results. Listen: To give ear to, To pay attention to , to hear something with thoughtful attention Sometime's I will began to talk about something not to have a audience but just to see how many people will have the willingness and the ability to just listen. Yes, we all get busy and don't have much time for many things but the one thing we lack is the ability to take time to "listen" to others. And we need to exercise the ART of Listening More than we do the Need to Talk. Because listening is the answer to solving problems. You can't solve problems until you listen to and hear the whole issue. Half listening , only hearing half of what I am telling you will only allow you to give me only half solutions. And you giving me only half solutions means I will have half the answers and half answers mean I will never get the whole solution settled and then I will never get Completely healed form what was originally bothering me. I Never Dreamed



I never dreamed that doing what God said do

would cause so much pain in my life

Friends stopped being friends and even some family members never seem to understand

I never dreamed that discrimination would be my flight

that I would have more lonely days and even fights

Yes fights because it's always a battle to stand for what's right

I never dreamed that doing what God said

would create such confusion

Yes, confusion because the very people that said they loved you and who

use to come, ask and accept your advice as friends

are now not as receptive now in your new position in Christ as they were of you way back when

I never dreamed that I would have to walk this walk alone

but then again I never Dreamed this at all

Just I know that no matter what

I was chosen to do this and for that I shall stand tall

and while I never dreamed

I'll never stop dreaming of how lives will be touched, changed in a instant all because I never dreamed

You see I never dreamed that it would make such a difference

giving hope, encouragement that I never dreamed possible

that the unsaved would become saved

that the lost would be saved

that the angry would become unangered

and the hurt ..well the hurt would be healed

Yes I never dreamed and I'm sure you didn't either

but God did and He knows His plans

so whether you dreamed, believed or doubted

He created these moments and He knows just what to do

so while I never dreamed... He did

And He will allow what He desires to come true

So trust Him and see that while you never dreamed What will Be will Be!!!

It's In the Valley That We Grow


Sometimes life seems hard to bear,

Full of sorrow, trouble and woe

It's then we have to remember

That it's in the valleys we grow.



If we always stayed on the mountain top

And never experienced pain,

We would never appreciate God's love

And would be living in vain.



We have so much to learn

And our growth is very slow,

Sometimes we need the mountain tops,

But it's in the valleys we grow.



We do not always understand

Why things happen as they do,

But I am very sure of one thing.

Our Lord will see Us through.

Be willing to sacrifice for the cause of God!!!!

Don't be so stuck on what God has done that you forget to recognize what He is doing or wants to do even more for you!!! Past Testimonies are great but like yesterdays news after a while they get to be old, outdated and people don't care to listen to them anymore. They will quickly tell you " That was great ...but do Tell Me, What Has God done for you lately?" If His Mercies are new daily ...is not your testimonies? That's not to say that your past testimony no longer has value. It just means that for those that have heard it over and over, it did what it did for them and now they are in expectation to hear what He IS now doing for you. Truly, what have He done since that last great testimony? I know for myself ..... He keeps doing GREAT things for me....Everyday!!!!! Not a day goes by that I don't have a new testimony!!! Luke 9:62 No man, having put his hand to the plough and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. The plowman must look ahead instead of back. So, too, must the Christian. We must continue forward. Don't get stuck in what was but continue forward in Christ that He may continue the work He started in you. He that is not willing to sacrifice "everything" for the cause of God, is really willing to sacrifice nothing.
