"Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;" --Romans 12:10-11
Quite often much causes us excitement like receiving something in the mail that says you have just been rewarded__________________. Many are excited to receive news from friends or relatives announcing a wedding or a child being born! There is much that causes us to be excited throughout the day.
But what about being excited about the good news concerning the Lord? Do you still get excited about the things that the Bible speak of that are to come..or are you still disappointed about not receiving the promises of a blessing yet to come.
Some of us need our batteries to be recharged! We need to stop being disappointed by what the world and it's leaders are doing and stop and rrread the word of God and get reexcited about what thus says the Lord. Great things are in store for those of the Kingdom.
Now, If you've been on fire for Him already, then make a decision to stay on fire. But if you've gotten a little lukewarm then make a choice today not to be lukewarm and to be on fire for Him again.
So today, I charge you to recharge and become excited all over again about the promises of God, Our Father.
Prayer:
Father ...
We come to ask you to forgive us for being slack in our attention and excitement amist all the things that come to take our focus off you..the distractions, the disappointments, the trials and the temptations...today we ask that you continue to allow us to see your glory in all things. allow us to be excited all over again on this day and everyday with a renewed mind and heart that is focused on the promises that you have made to us.
Give us peace that truly surpasses all things things. We love you ..we worship you and look forward in victory knowing you know what is best for us. Today, Our hearts are full of joy..our minds at peace and we lean and depend only on you. We Praise You like Never Before!
In Jesus Name, We Pray..Amen
